Jonathan Hurt is the alter ego of Cologne-based designer Daniel Angermann. Daniel has been producing music projects of various genres for more than 20 years. Initially (1998-2005) in his home town of Soest with local projects, mainly in the pop and hip hop genres. From 2006-2010 he produced his first Eurotrance tracks with Carsten Albert (Seikos) and others. The subsequent electro project Mono&Stereo produced a popular album. From 2012 (until 2018) he was a member and co-founder of the project »Permablond« and produced the band’s tracks. PB was a wave project that celebrated minor local and regional successes with Frauke Schneider (keys) and Daniel Hyngar (vocals). Since 2019, he has not produced in groups for the time being and designed his alter ego „Jonathan Hurt“ as a form of therapy to settle accounts with his past as a figure skater and finally be allowed to make mistakes. His first record »Tears of Time« dealt with the overproduction and correction of pop music. He left out everything that the industrial standard brings with it in the production. Since 2023, Jonathan has embarked on a journey from the past with the first commercial repetition of Eurodance, Techno (90s) in the project »Ti Amo«, where he authentically produces everything from this music era. Since 2024, the project »Lora Satz« has been created, which musically follows on from the work of Permablond.
